Welcome & Lab Blog Post Instructions by Gwen

Welcome to your lab blog!

I hope that you finally have access to the blog.
Starting next week, you all will start posting here.
You will post:

  • Mystery Pond Water Organisms (due by Friday, April 15th @ 5pm)
    • Note: One post per group
  • Mystery Petri Dish Bacteria (due Monday, April 18th @ 9am)
    • Note: One post per student

I will detail what I expect from you for each post right here on the blog.
Please refer to my instructions for each post.

D. Defining characteristics of organism

  • Spherical organism
  • Colony composed of numerous flagellate cells 
  • Daughter colony held within larger mother cell/colony
  • Gelanteous matrix of green dots (aka  "extracellular matrix")
